More baby chickens hatched

A picture of the four more recently hatched baby chickens, only five days old.

When they are older they will be joining the hens in Tom's blue hen hut at Pot House Hamlet.

We now have quite a collection of hens, many rare breeds.

Brierley school visit to Silkstone

A coach of 28 children visited Pot House Hamlet last week. The children from Brierley spent all day at the Hamlet.

They sowed a broad bean at Horsfields Nursery, had a walk on the waggon way, a picnic under the oak tree next to Silkstone Beck, and fun watching all the hens clucking around.
