28th November 2009 - The LP's Live Jazz duo, enjoy three courses for £24.95

The Sheffield-based LPs are the multi-talented musicians Larry Van Kriedt and Paul Agbakoba.
Working out of Sheffield in the UK, The LPs serve up an eclectic mix of sounds: cool ambient jazz, classic soul, seductive latin rhythms and infectious funk.
The LPs have performed at too many venues and events to list. A couple worth mentioning are: The Old Trafford, Manchester United Football Club grounds and Club Marbella, the best 5 star resort in Marbella, on the Costa Del Sol, Spain.
They have performed to countless people. Again, it is impossible to mention them mention them all but here are a couple of celebs that have enjoyed The LPs: Sven Goran Ericsson, England Football Team Coach, and David Blunkett, British MP.

Chickens at Pot House Hamlet

There is a new addition to Pot House Hamlet. We now have many chickens and cockerels clucking around the blue hen hut in the top car park. We have many different varieties including ones with hairy feet and legs! Why not come and have a look.

The Old Gassworks nominated for a Countryside Award

The Old Glassworks at Pot House Hamlet has been nominated for another award.

The Old Glassworks has been shortlisted and is in the final 6 for the Friends of the Peak District 2009 Countryside Award, this includes the Peak District National Park Authority's Special Award for excellence in building and design.

The Countryside Award Scheme is run by the Friends of the Peak District and CPRE South Yorkshire to celebrate particularly fine example of projects which make a positive contribution to the rural scene. The Award Scheme has been running for over 25 years.

Stories through drama along the Silkstone wagonway

Yesterday the pupils of Silkstone Primary School visited the Hamlet. As part of the 'Two Villages Festival' the children enacted a series of historical plays in and around the Pot House Hamlet.
