Once again dresses dominate the look for summer 09. Here are some of the hottest styles to keep you looking cool throughout the summer.
The bodycon - eighties style figure hugging dress, is hot to trot, so breathe in!
Tip: platforms and high heels become more creative and distinctive, so go wild when it comes to evening foot wear.
Bandeau – this no straps, nipped in waist dress is so seductively feminine.
Tip: Nude tones and vibrant block colours rule. Or add a waist belt to give more waist shaping.
Asymmetric - one shoulder dresses are proving to be a winning alternative to the bandeau.
Tip: Coral and electric blues are the hottest shades
The Maxi – in romantic ditsy floral and out of Africa tribal prints. Long and free flowing, maxi’s suit many figure shapes.
Tip: Maxi’s look better with flats, so go for a pair of embellished flat sandals or gladiators.
The cocktail dress - 1920’s flapper style fringed dresses, adorned with feathers and ruffles.
Tip: Finish this look off with a pair of Mary Jane or brogue heels.
